Another blacked out part.

Here's my blacked out turn signals:

Parking lights (amber bulbs):

Turn signals:

This was done with rustoleum flat black. I just took a dremel with a cutting wheel, and carefully cut along the glue. After a while of small cuts and gentle prying, I got the lens off. After that it was just a quick couple of coats of paint, then use some black epoxy to seal it back in place.

So you painted the inside surface? Cool. It looks like a smoked lense cover, untill the lights come on that is.

That looks great!

I made some Dark Smoke Lexan cover to go over the lens fits on the inside of the bumper cover and Dark Blue vinyl to go on the fog light.

Thanks.
I had to locate a better picture. Here is one with the lights on. You can see the smoke tint does not block the amber light at night.

You have to take off the front bumper to remove the turn signal housings, but ti's much easier than you'd think. After they were off, I just used a dremel with a cutting wheel on the glue around the lens. Just go slowly, prying gently til you get them off. Then scuff with sand paper, paint, then use black epoxy to seal em again. Be liberal with the epoxy around the sides to insure a seal. If you've got more questions, feel free to PM me.
