It was sitting at my door step today when I got home
It's a freebee that they're sending out to Mini owners. Anyone else get theirs?

Yeah we got one too that glue stuck all over the outside of it. Nice touch MINI. If you're going to send your customers an appreciation gift for putting up with the stumble at least check the gifts for defects!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

My wife pealed most of the glue off of it. It won't fit in the front cup holders very well anyway, so it will just get added to our stock of branded coffee mugs. Glad you gat one that is in good shape. Enjoy your favorite beverage in it.

Yep, got one a couple months after we took delivery. Also got the diary, road sign bingo, barf bags, 2 different pens, a MINI lapel pin, and some other misc. stuff.

OMG That's the hugest picture ever of one of the most frequent topics of MCO posts (i.e., free stuff sent by MINIUSA...check it out via the search function). I think it may be bigger than life-size

It is indeed larger than life size. On my 17" monitor here at work, the pic is about 50% taller than my actual mug.
And mine has the handle on the other side! Looking at the MINI logo, my handle is on the left, not the right.
The glue thing? I brought mine to work and after using it for a couple of days, I noticed a gluey/gummy substance down one side. It came off with a little effort.
What annoys me more is that when I have hot coffee in it, the orange "lining" piece keeps wanting to leave the metal part. After I finish my coffee, I push down on it and the lining goes back in a good 2-3mm. No real problem, it just seems shoddy.

Ah so they do make them for right handers too then? That makes me feel better. I was thinking there's more right handers out here than lefties, so if you're going to put your advertising on something, wouldn't you want the logo to show to the outside? I mean the person who owns the stupid cup knows what kind of car he owns.

At least I think I do.

And who decided we all wanted the orange colour anyway?

An another thing...my coffee cup spills when my car stumbles.

I take it they are not very consistent across the board...real hit or miss

Yes, we should have cups that are the same color as our MINIs! Now that would be good.

>>An another thing...my coffee cup spills when my car stumbles.

Yeah and my cup spills if I do a loop the loop too slow. When I do the loop fast it's fine.
Don't stumble- drive your MINI at 5000+ rpm only.

Who wouldn't want orange? If I could have, I would have bought an orange MCS!
What can I say? I like being inconspicuous (sp?).

They must of sent you one for a home market (RHD) car. I need a left handed one, would you like to trade.

Cheers

Looking at mine, you might want to reconsider. It could definately use a wash.

OzMini...where you at? I'm gonna be home in Sydney in November. If you want something from the States that isn't too big/heavy, maybe I can help save you some shipping.
