Just for any interested parties, I had a set of LED towers for a 194 bulb and popped them in the parking lights to take a few pics.

I won't keep them in because then the low draw sets off the bulb out indicator on the tach display, but i figured people on here would be interested to see another color combo.

Nokya yellow fogs, LED pure white parking lights. I think the color combo is kind of cool, but i'd get some of those dyed blue halogen bulbs instead to avoid the warning indicator.

nice pics!!!!
so you're saying the 194 bulb causes a bulb out error, even tho the bulb is showing light?....

LED's draw less...so the car sees that there isn't as much draw as there would be with a halogen bulb so it tells you that the bulb is dead

There is a way to run LEDs but I'm not much of an electrics person. It has something to do with the proper resistors etc.

Yea but that requires hacking into the wiring and putting a resistor in place for those bulbs. The problem is, however, this is my new car and I don't want to hack into my wiring like I did when I had my Honda and I was in high school!

For turn signals, however, superbrightleds has a few resistor solutions that may not require hacking wiring if you do LED turn signals. I'd recommend double checking first for the right fitment.

I've swapped out my side markers to LED and no bulb out indicator (yet), nor does it flash 2x fast. The rears are a pain to get to, and the ones i tried ran the flasher 2x fast.

If anyone wants to swap out the side marker 194, do NOT get anything less than a 6 LED unit, it will not be bright enough, wide angled is better. In fact, the 360 from superbrightleds.com should be the best for the front and side markers.

those yellow fogs do throw off a lot more light to the sides

to give those looking to get a set an idea how it looks from the inside ... a pretty accurate photo.
this is just with the fogs on ... no headlights.

im assuming you took out the headlights or covered them? it would be kinda cool to run with just the fogs on at around dusk but im unaware of anyway to do so.

...just turn the **** one click rather than two. This will just turn the parking lights on and allow fogs to be on without headlights.

as shown with non-covered headlights:

^werd.

that's how I drive around most of the time at dusk/dawn. I don't really need my headlights much as I live in the city.

How hard would it be to change the bulb in the fog lights. I think this idea and if these bulbs aren't too much i'll grab them

Hey Rally you just replaced the fog light bulb right? Not the parking light indicator that sits on the top half of the fog light housing? Just curious cause I thought running yellows in the fogs but having the white-ish ones in the parking light would look kinda funky. Or maybe u cant even tell...
