Yea, exactly, that's why they're so coveted. Forums like hidplanet.com they go pretty quickly.

The lens themselves are yellow and that is what lends them their color.

With some investigating, the same projectors were used on other Lexus and Toyota models throughout the years, but I haven't established a pattern for 9006/H3 yet.

I'm regretting selling my 9006's.

Yah...I'm very happy with them. I gotta find some yellow 194 wedge bulbs to replace the running/driving lights too.

9006's are good, but you can fit a 9005 in the same bulb slot with minor modifications. All you need is a dremel or a razor blade.. I've had 9005 silverstars running in my 9006 low beam spot for years... they put out slightly more light, and don't have the silver cap at the top... And there's no issue of blinding anyone because the factory cap is still covering my bulb, so all you get is reflected light... never been flashed once, and it's going on 6 years now...

I did that with my HiR bulbs, the capless and extra 5w really put out a lot more light. But I also got a lot more glare with the HiRs because my halogen housings weren't up to snuff.

Yup....those are the ones I bought.

The R56 (MC + MCS) as well as the R55 clubman (MC + MCS) all use H8's for their fogs.

Do you notice how bright the nokya bulbs are compared to what was oem? I'm amazed at the width of the beam spread as well as the height. It fills in some of the area that the xenons don't light up. I almost wonder if they are too bright to be left on all the time.

I don't like blinding oncoming traffic so i've been using the foglights as though they were driving or highbeams and turning them off when i see approaching traffic.

I guess i need to ride in a car in front of mine so i can see how bright the fogs really are.

DUDE i highly doubt Anybody will be blinding by a light 2 inches off of the floor, thats jusyt MY opinion....i think what ur saying would be more valid on a a truck wiht a 6" lift and an hid fog & headlight kit...cuz thats wtf blinds me lol....in any case, i just dont care if anyone else gets blinded, the car looks frikkin good and thats all i care about.....sorry haha

I don't think I had enough time to REALLY compare the OEM as I put these nokya's in pretty early.....but they definitely fill in the spots that aren't usually filled in by the xenons. I'm happy with them.

I don't think they're very blinding....I wouldn't worry about it. Especially considering the shape of the reflector....it's cut off by a wall about 75% of the way up to divide the fog from the running/parking light....I bet that keeps a lot of the light from shooting upwards.

i put on the hoens last night but didnt have enough time to take ANY pics or anything, i literally took them out of the box and had them on in less than 5 minutes... (meeting my friends to watch the lakers)

JudgeS, i could not see how you would have had any problems...and my car is lowered too, just turn the wheel, spin the cap and replace the light

they dooo look good, reminds me of my last car, and it fills the entire area that the xenons miss....not that the previous ones didnt but now you could see it lol

$47.98 = sweet deal

My bulbs will not turn, its so f**king frustrating, (I have no problem getting to them) I will actually have time this w/e to unplug them first and see if that works.

not to be an *** or anything, but r u turning them the right way? they ARE on reallllly snug, dont be afraid to turn them, if im not mistaken you are going to turn them counterclockwise, and when putting them on....dont forget to remove the rubber fitting on the new bulb, there shoudl only be one rubber fitting....make sure to hold the fog light from the front and apply pressure when putting the new lgiht in while turning, its going to go on snug but have no fear

Yes I'm turning them the right way, , as I said I can see where its suppose to go, it seams like the plug is hitting something preventing it from reaching there. Someone commented already that they were having the same problem.

I was the one with the same problem.....as stated earlier....just unplug first and it becomes 100 times easier. Unplugging them is just a pain...
