Is there anyway to remove the S from the side repeaters/scuttles?

Not really, unless you replace the units with standard Cooper style, or aftermarket replacements.

1. Open the bonnet
2. Slide the repeater towards the front of the car.
3. It will move and inch or so. It is then only attached ny the light wires. It shouold be in the manual too as this is how you change the bulb in the repeater.

Is it hard to remove? I tugged on it, but it didn't budge. How hard do I have to tug? I'm afraid I might scratch the car to break the clips. I just want to change the bulbs.

I took a quick look in your gallery. The modified scuttles do indeed look sharp on your Clubman. Nice job!
