Hi guys. I just fitted a carbon jcw dash in my convertible... Is there a company who sells carbon doorpanels!?

I mean the round thing on my door... (still in Cool Blue)

get off your knees, your not making enough...get a job...remember 2009 is just around the corner, and your far from an engine swap, tranny swap, turbo, cf doors, panels and boot...FINISHING THE ROLL CAGE, and doing something about that 80 lbs above you...mind you the nooks and crannies that still need be gutted...not to mention the ECU change and tune, head, header, exhaust...

You wont be the cool one just because you dont run exhaust for much longer my friend...

 

I remember seeing these being made. But I have no clue who it was by.

There was a place in Australia that was pumping out complete Mini Cooper CF door panels a couple years ago. There's an old NAM link running around on here with the contact information. I didn't find it in my initial search, but it's on here somewhere. I do remember the shipping was something crazy.

 

Is the JCW dash real carbon, and does it replace the stock dash pieces or cover over them? I would try Jim at Rogue Motorsports, roguemotorsports@gmail.com to check into getting the door panels covered in carbon.

 

All of the JCW parts are "real" carbon fiber, but it's CF over ABS plastic, so there's not any real weight savings to be had - they're strictly cosmetic pieces. And the JCW CF parts replace the factory parts - they're not overlays.

No available pictures, but take it from me, results would be the closest to JCW carbon fiber. Remember, he's one of very few people who makes REAL carbon fiber...

 

Rogue actually makes the carbon door handles, headlight rings, gas caps and more for Aesthetic Creation who sells parts on this forum. I know you can do a search and see some of the AC parts.

for just the door handles and such, lohen mini UK has the real deal from hamann....but you'd be paying a nasty price.

theres some carbon fiber company in canada, i think its called gemini...they do custom work, they said they can do the ENTIRE door panel in regular carbon fiber for $1300 or in colored carbon/kevlar for $1400, so im sure just the handle and all that would be cheaper.
look them up on google.

 

Holy buckets batman! 2800 British pounds for carbon interior parts. Looks great but I think I'll be sticking to the US suppliers.
