Interior/Exterior Homemade 3in Stubby Antenna
Antenna
I'd still like one. Black powder coated would be great. Let me know how to send payment.
Thanks,

ChrisW, Check out your local Craigslist.org under tools they can be had cheaper than you think.
Doesn't powder coating cost a bit? I know the local shop is a big ripoff. I wanted to have a few things on my bronco done and they wanted a ton just to do some little parts.
Just a suggestion.. If you are making more of these and they sell well, you should check out Eastwood's line of at home powder coating. I hear from some hot rod guys it works perfect. As long as you have an electric oven at home you could do any color you want very easily.

So the antennas are all powder coated. I did it my self and I'm still learning. so the finish isn't the best. I would say It has an orange peel or a really light crinkle finish.

Thats isn't a scratch on the one on the left it's just fuzz or something.
I just want you to know what you are paying for. If you don't like it I will sandblast and repowdercoat them on Saturday. The price is $15+ $5 S&H USPS flat rate

Two things:
1. Be careful, I think you are toeing the line on being a vendor. Ask Lord of the Flies--he did that whole thing with the engine dampers and walked the same line.
2. In general you don't need an antenna unless you're in a bad reception area. In that case listen to CDs or MP3s. I listen only to XM which doesn't require any vertical antenna, but sits as a 1" square on the roof.
Btw, nice work, indeed!

yah really. it's not like you can make it out of your blender or something.

Actually looks funny since i'm used to the long antenna, but that has nothing to do with his craftsmanship
