Interior/Exterior Boot area question
Part numbers through Classic:
51-16-7-052-720 = Luminous Ring ($2.60)
51-16-8-222-183 = Plug ($1.45)
61-34-6-915-065 = Bulb socket ($3.02)
61-34-6-973-035 = Cigarette Lighter ($3.24)
63-21-7-167-000 = Bulb ($2.08)
Total = $22.39
If I remember correctly, I didn't need the bulb. I think it came with one (bulb socket), so now I have an extra... These are all the parts. The only thing you'd need is your wiring and fuses... Also, DO NOT ASSEMBLE, before you put it on the car. I had one hell of a time disassembling everything...

okedoke got the parts...does anyone know what the bulb number is...i went to the stealership but they didnt have the bulb in stock...what is the number and ill go to the autozone and get it
lol now how does the bulb assembly attach and how does it all wire up(doesnt say which is + and which is -)
How it all attaches...
The ring light slides over the cigarette socket, that should "Click" into place. Slide both of those into the hole in the boot. (As I mentioned before, only do this when you are installing into the car. I was dicking around with mine and had a hell of a time getting the pieces back apart to install in the car...) Once those two pieces are in the hole, you'll have to reach in through the little cutout in the trim (the panel you removed) and you'll want to attach the light bulb socket to the ring light (orange) piece (spade connector facing the same way as the ones on the cigarette socket). And that's it. The middle spade on the socket is your (+), spade on the outside is (-). The spade on the light bulb is (+) as well. If you notice the brass in the bulb socket, that's your grounding point (so this is why you only have 1 spade (+) on the light bulb socket.
Hope this makes sense.
BTW, if you pull your light bulb socket apart, you should find a bulb already inside (IIRC, the little black tab allows it to slide apart). Mine came with one installed, and I ended up having the one I thought I needed, left over...

It's always going to be powered. This is nice if you want to plug something in, but don't want to have to turn your accesories on via the key. Only bad thing is, if you're not paying attention, you can run your battery down...
Apparantly in '03 there were some that didnt have the lighter adapter

I am with you on this boat!
It goes in the boot on the drivers side (above the little door panel). If you look in this spot, you'll see a plug. Remove the plug, and you have your hole. To my knowledge, all '03's were left out, so don't feel bad
