hey everyone, I was looking at tips for my blacked out DS/B MCS and came across this:

I was wondering if anyone has seen this "black chrome" and what their opinions were. Its either this or I paint it flat black. Thanks for the input

There is a black chrome plating process. I haven't seen it in real life, but it is supposed to look quite good.

I bought the M7 STB Anniversary Edition. Besides what you posted, it is the only Black Chromed product I have seen. I REALLY REALLY LIKE it! It has the bling of regular chrome, but more subtle. I would post my pic, but I think M7 has a clearer image on their website.

The only issue I can see with the black chrome over flat black would be the sooty build-up showing up more on the chrome.
