Air bag light on after roll bar install

I took out my seats to install a roll bar. I also removed the center console to make working with the carpet easier. Now the airbag light blinks once and then stays on. I have connected/reconnected the three electrical units under both seats. I understand there is a sensor of some sort in the front of the center console, could the be it?

I would love to find a simple solution before I pull the seats out again to get at the center console!

Did you turn the key at all with the seats out? If so, the light comes on and stays on. And your only recourse is to head to the dealership to get them to turn it off.

Whenever you remove your seats, disconnect the Battery. You will not get the alarm then. You will have to bring it to the dealer as they are the only ones with the tool to reset it.

what kind of roll bar? when you go to the dealer, ask them to pull the code. I have a light on from cutting holes for my Cross coilovers - the left head airbag is the culprit. from the pics I've seen, the roll bar gets bolted close to the same spot I had to cut - you might have issues with the head bags, though it sounds more like a basic reset is in order.
