Guages Installed

After months of looking and numerous calls I decided to call across the pond and order a right hand drive a pillar pod from Mini Speed of England.
After remembering that the time was different(5 hours to be exact) I reached the chaps there and found they only had carbon fiber and it was on.
A week later and $120USD the package arrived.
Wireing and install was a breeze.
I had these guages from my SC Miata which I de-tuned for my son, I know that they don't match but where they are mounted they look good.
If i can find a place I will post a photo later.

Steve

Possibly dumb question, your gauges are on the right hand a-pillar? Processing...processing...processing, ..why not!

NO, left hand, they make a pod for the LHD cars.
The piece is very good quality and fitment is good.
It looks fantastic on the car, wasn't sure about the carbon fiber look but it looks good with the crinkle finish of the dash, I am not a big fan of CF but I really like this.
If anyone knows a place to post pics let me know>

Here ya go mate: Looks Good! Very nice fitment. I've seen other cars with poor fitment and it ruins it completely...

No problem!

Sounds good, now you need to cover both pillars with Carbon Fiber

Looks cool. The but from this angle it looks like they are pointed to the ceiling to much. How easy is it to read them when your driving?

They are a little high but some of it might be the camera angle.
I thought about using a pod mount that went behind the tach & spedo but since I have the chrono package they would have been totaly obscured by the steering wheel, at least I can see them.
I know the faces don't match but I took the guage I had and used them.
My plan is to install a wide band later on I just could not wait to install.
