What do you guys think of this? Does anybody have this or something simular to it? From the pics, it doesn't look like too much air would get too the radiator. But I think it looks okay.

I think you're right. It could restrict the air flow.

Personally I don't see the hype. The stock grill is cool and there isn't a big enough difference to risk the extra heat, especially if you live in a hot climate or high altitude.

I've seen someone do a similar effect with less than aluminum grating from home depot... looked just as good and saved $$. That is honestly a $5 part for $45. If you want to do it, DIY. In case you don't like it just rip it back out, not a big loss.
