the ones from ecs don't swivel so they will need to be mounted straight up and down. Here's how they looked:

This was done after the front end was replaced and the body shop mounted them. They put them up too high and I should have done it myself. Luckily for me that splitter ended up being replaced at their cost and I ended up going back to the ones included with the M7 splitter. I have the ECS ones still and an extra set of the M7 turnbuckles so shoot me a PM if your interested

A little off topic, but its a splitter question

How well do these splitters hold up at high speed *cough 110 cough*?
Also it looks like the attachment point for the control arms to the slitter could be flimsy...has anyone has issues of the splitter cracking at these points?

MC 2, your splitter looks great. I have been thinking of doing one myself, but have been putting it off. You have inspired me to get off my ...... It looks like you were able get the contour perfect. Do you have advice, sketches, specs, plywood source, etc. Anything that you could share would be greatly appreciated.

What is the purpose of the splitter? Is it to assist with preventing scraping the front bumper, aerodynamics, or just an aesthetic piece?

sorry for the thread-jack...

Waoh it took me a while to realize that you actually made this splitter great job that seems like it would be a lot more cost effective than buying a $250 splitter, plus you get free reign of design
