Door handle (interior) lighting

I searched, but to no avail. Has anyone changed the amber "accent" leds located in the interior door handle area (05+) to another color? I recently had my speedo/tach colors changed to blue and would like to change these as well.

Nobody has changed these? It seems like it should be a fairly simple task, just curious as to what leds to use.

I want to do this to my MINI but don't have OEM ones already there, 2004, but I plan on purchasing some LEDs from Oznium.com

They have standard LEDs or Pre-Wired LEDs
Just LEDs ~ http://www.oznium.com/led
Pre-Wired LEDs ~ http://www.oznium.com/prewired-leds

Not sure on how the OEM ones are wired, but you could problably just swap out the LED by cutting the wire a little back and then adding one of the Pre-Wired LEDs. I could be wrong though. I know I'll be adding Pre-Wired to my MINI but I don't have the OEM ones. Good Luck!
