Help! Front Bumper Parking Light Burned Out!

So I'm following an SUV the other night, and I was observing the reflection of my headlights/parking lights on the SUV's tailgate. Well, it seems the drivers' side parking light is burned out. The left turn signal works just fine, just the parking light is out.

How does one replace this light? Does the entire bumper cover need to come off? If I have a dealer replace the bulb, is it going to cost me an arm and a leg? Any input would be appreciated! Thanks in advance!

The culprit, circled in yellow...

yep, pull the bumper skin off, after you make sure and get the right blub from the Dealer.

Open bonnet, look behind that light, remove wire, turn receptacle to remove. replace with a $3 bulb (wedge 194)

On my 05 R50 you can change the turn signal as stated above, but that driving light had to be replaced with the bumper skin off. Not a great MINI design.

My 03 all that you have to do is find the proper socket, twist it and it pulls out. Not hard at all. And the OEM bulb number is 2825 but a 194 will work in its place no problems.

It's easier on a driving/fog light to remove the wheel and undo the 4 or so plastic pop screws, one verticle screw from the c clip up - the wheel liner comes out and - voila, the light, socket and(if a rock has taken on your light assembly) the fog/drivers light unit!

There are details if one searches.

As for the parking light/signal - as noted above!
