Washed and added this

So, yesterday I washed my car, yes if you live in LA, you can blame me for the rain . Anyway once washed I added this to the sunroof.

its solid, but the black bars are the glass, so there is no vinyl there. Thanks for posting up the pic, I wish that picasa hosted for message boards.

You said that you did that so I'm assuming that "you" literally did it. How hard was that to do and where did you get it. I'm thinking of doing a checkerboard, and was curious.

Roof looks good. You can host from picasa by doing a right click on the image while in your picasa album, then paste the image location into the NAM post using the insert image tool in the menu. On my right click I use copy image location.

@old81, thanks for that tip.

Yeah, I installed it myself, my Mom purchased it from MINI for Christmas (this is a factory option). It mostly took time, and it was really sticky, and it was a windy day, so that probably didn't help. But I found some wet install instruction on the net and used those. I used a window squeegee, probably could use a much smaller one, especially if you are doing a checker board. I did it one piece of glass at a time. I would say it took around an hour or so to complete.
