I enlisted the services of Foxtrot_Xray (member id on NAM). His name is Mike and he does this light color conversion as a side job. I should have mine back Monday and will post pics once installed.

Success! And no mingling red/orange lights as someone suggested.

I shot this during the day - and it's hard to tell red from orange in the photo - but trust me - the redline are is red, and the rest is orange.

It was really easy, and non-risky, and the results are MUCH better than before. The area over 6000 RPM is still a little dimmer than the rest, but if you didn't know it, you wouldn't notice it (unless you're obsessive like me and the rest of you)...

See the details of how I did it in my blog!

Also - I went back in and trimmed some more - gotta do it carefully, cause there IS an orange LED hidden beneath there that you care about (as 03Indigo said), but now the look is PERFECT.

Blimey, it worked for me earlier today, but tried just now and also get the "Sorry, no posts matched your criteria" message. The homepage has VIR as the last post. Maybe you are seeing a copy cached by your browser; try refreshing.

Hmmm. I think maybe when I edited it, the post got "unpublished" - I could still see it cause I'm "god"... try it now.

Sorry for the confusion.
And thanks for being persistent.

I don't have a center speedo - so I'm done.
Good luck with yours!
