Interior/Exterior The evolution of a MINI ONE Diesel
Ok folks. I have managed to find the camera cable, so I've put the vid onto youtube. Its not very good to be honest, I will try to do another one soon. The exhuast sounds much better out on the road, especially when you change up from 2nd to 3rd under heavy acceleration.

Ok, here are the engine bay pictures. The engine itself is a Toyota lump. The early cars had 75bhp, the later ones had 88bhp. The earlier engines did not have the plastic cover either, everything was exposed. The battery is located in the boot, as per the Cooper S.
Mine is an 06, so falls into the higher bhp catogory.

. Do you guys not have the 'ONE' model over there?

See the above post for the engine pics.
Thanks,
James.
the demand for a D would be quite high here i think. at least comparatively for the market. the wifey and i were looking to get her one. she loves my MINI and we looked at them for her but settled for a Yaris. i'm hoping to see the one D show up in the market in the next few years for her "upgrade".
I love the car. you and the "fallen Pregnant" made some great asthetic upgrades.

I'm off up into the Lake District tommorow, so if I get any decent pics I'll put them up on here.
I'm not sure why, but I love seeing non-S Minis dressed up with aero kits and nice wheels like yours. It seems kind of innocent and playful compared to horsepower-obsessed S owners (not that there's anything wrong with that!).
A small car with a nice diesel is the only thing that I foresee giving up my Mini for. Congratulations on doing such a great job modifying yours. The exhaust is especially well done.
