I added "cargo net" and glove box "organizer".
Those two items are really cool and useful.
I would recommend those two for you.
Anybody has any other good, small but useful items ?

I got a power outlet that splits into 2 and I also bought a power converter so I can plug in regular devices and edit videos in my car. I bought a CD visor holder and it didn't fit since the visors are curved. Someone should make this for the MINI. The Euro Shelf is my favorite small item, it was my first mod.

The Euro Parcel shelf is a fast & easy mod, and very useful.

I have the trilogy of the chrome rings from Rspeed and I like that the best:

Another mod I like is my shifter:

Others really like their Whalen shifters- many custom engravings are very cool.

Has anyone had any experience with the aftermarket cup holders, that will hold larger cups?

To remove the stock MCS shifter:
Put the shifter into 2nd gear.
Grab hold of the **** with both hands.
Sit in the drivers seat and brace your legs together and against the floor.
Pull with all your might on the **** and it will come off.
Try to miss hitting yourself in the chin when the **** pops.
It is just wedged in there.

I picked a shorter MOMO ****. many are taller designs. Also the **** I picked is smaller for a smaller hand. Most people that have driven my car say that they like it. I don't like the stock ****. Each MOMO **** comes with a series of black rubber inserts that fit into the hole in the **** and over the stock shifter stick. This allows a snug fit if you choose the correct rubber insert which looks like a black thin cylinder. I picked one that fit really snug on my shift stick (place the rubber over the stick first- then place the **** on the rubber and slowly push the **** onto the stick) that I did not need to fasten any bolts that came with the shift ****. I have been driving it for a few months and it is doing fine as is. If I wanted to I could pull off the **** but the rubber insert would get stuck in the shifter **** hole. I could fish it out with a tweezer but it would be hard.

I drove the car today at 4pm and the **** was not overly warm- just a bit. The **** I choose is available in many finishes including wood, dull aluminum, chrome, leather-carbon fiber-wood accents, etc. All in the shorter size.

Don't forget about the Whalens- they are also good.

Minihune, is there any metal where your hand touches in a regular gear shift? My stock gear shift **** gets so hot that I can barely change gears and I'm looking for a nice leather wrapped one. I really like the look of the MOMOs, and they come in some cool colours. Does the CF get as hot as metal does? :???:

I've got the ones from Moss MINI, one for driver and passenger. We really like them except for one minor detail. I'm 5'9 and my wife is about 5'6 we keep the seats too far forward to comfortably drive the car and use the aftermarket cup holder because the fold down in front of the seat. Not a big deal if we're both in the car and the passenger doesn't have a drink. However, I don't think my wife can drive the car with the cup holder unfolded. I can, but it's not the most comfortable.

Also (and this one is real minor) they tend to scuff up the inside molding of the seat when you side the seat forward for somebody to climb in the backseat. Not a big deal as its not very noticeable, but it does happen....

I have velcro'd my garage door opener underneath the toggle switches.

The clip did not fit on the visor, and the opener is now out of sight, yet still easy to reach.

I put my door opener on my euro parcel shelf. Works well there

My clip rattled from day one- that visor needs to go on a diet and thin out.

For the BMP gauges- why don't you try for a group buy?

For the hot shifter. I guess if I put my regular shifter back on I could get it to heat up alot.
With my CF momo it only gets hot on the chrome and not on the CF which is coated with clear plastic I think. I drove the car yesterday at 4pm and it was warm but not bad at all. Leather or wood would be good as well. Just be wary that the designs vary in height and that I have the short one which doesn't raise the level of the shifter itself from the stock height.

Yes, I have seen the ones at MiniFini, are they available and has anyone had experience with them?

I've also seen the ones at Moss, they could work...

I bought a CD visor at TARGET.
It is inexpensive and works well.

One more thing.
I ordered Whalen Shift Machine ****(polished) with MCS shift pattern.
It will shine on top of the stick soon...

I ordered oil pressure, oil temperature and water temperature gauges from NMC. Can't wait to see the color changing effects. Really cool.

Their sill plates are quite unique too.

I found an electrical boost & oil pressure gauge in PROMINI site the other day.
Anybody has this mod in your MCS ?
Does it work well ?
It's a bit expensive, but it's a nice kit for monitoring condition of SC's boost & oil pressure and moreover it's cool.

I store my CDs in a Fischer C-Box mounted under the toggle switches:

I second this! $71 shipped from Classic MINI, and this is very usable space! An entire spindle of 50 CDs fits there with ease. Only under the most "spirited" acceleration (i.e., not TOO often) do objects fall from the parcel shelf onto the floor of the wheelwell... And only if they slide easily against themselves, like CD cases...

Parcel shelf - one could easily hide three avocados there, away from prying eyes...
