European car had a project car with sunroof, they removed the glass and hardware and installed a fiberglass replacement to reduce weight.

Be sure & drive one w/o a sunroof first!! For me personally, I'm WAY too claustrophobic for a MINI hardtop!

. I have talked about that CF roof insert before. I called the people who did that and they told me they would never want to attempt something like that again....and they fab CF parts for Subies and Evo's ALL THE TIME...
