Window graphics anyone?

I would like to get window graphics for my back/side and rear windows. I saw (somewhere, I can't remember ) 50/50 perforated custom designs that are applied to the interior side of the window so it doesn't effect or be effected by the wiper and water doesn't "well" in the perforations. Anyone know where I can get such a beast? Micki

Someone here has it done, two people I think - they were both UJs in the rear window; I think one was perforated, like you said, and the other was done in varying colors in tint. Hopefully they'll see your thread and speak up!

I have outside the window perforated.. They were a gift, so I don't know where they came from.

The advantage is that it fills the whole window area nicely, but it is hard to see out of when wet (and I wouldn't put it on the back like you mentioned)

I want to get custom graphics of that cranky old broad you see on the Hallmark (?) cards so others will see a left, right or rear view of her sitting in the back seat wearing a big red hat....on a more practical side, ....well, I can't think of any practical sides right now, but give me a while and I'm sure I'll think of something. That was the biggest draw of the ones I saw...they were applied inside and weren't effected by water. The ones you have fit perfectly and look smart, too. I hope I can find a vendor... Mick

It seems like most of the vinyl companies around are willing to do custom work, you may just want to check around with the ones listed in the vendor listings. Aesthetic Creations is the first one that came to mind. Might be copyright issues with the grumpy lady though.

I have a custom graphic on mine side window and is perforated, but there on the outside. Mine you like they were made on the window and from the inside it looks like a tinted window. I'm not sure if they can make it for the inside, but Cooper Flags made mine. Give the a call and i'm sure they can help you one way or the other.

That would be Maxine

I have never done what you want but Cooper Flags does excellent work so I would recommend giving them a shout

Funny, not many people know her name...just "the cranky old broad"...I will look into everyone's suggestions. If anyone thinks of anyone who does it, let me know, keep the suggestions coming in 'cause there is no one in the Florida Keys who does it....Mick

Mine was done by AC, contact Mike to see if he can make so you could do the application on the inside.

My UJ is holding up well on the rear window. The visibility is fine from inside, but the perfs on the outside do 'well' up with the water. If you dry they are fine and using a air compressor to blow out the excess is the proper way to do the complete dry.

I will have to do a small brush scrub after this winter and see if they will come completely clean.

See my picasa for pictures of the UJ.

Hello,
Just spent an hour searching and couldn't find it. Could someone help me find the decal that says something about "corners very hard" or something like that? I saw it about a week ago somewhere and can't find it again. I would VERY MUCH appreciate it!! Thanks!

I found it! It is Xtreme Window See-through Window Graphics....I fired off an e-mail asking for info on the product (price, application method location: adhesive or static cling and interior or exterior, durability, custom requests, etc.) and will share that as soon as I get it.

Montana, I looked high and low for your request, and the best I found was custom decals in which you can get them made to your specs...there are dozens of sites that will do that for you. You just have to pick the one you want to do business with.

Thanks for the help everybody. Mick
