Interior/Exterior Headlights
PS: They are pretty ricey-looking. However, I freaking love them, especially on the all black. They look really cool at night, I wish that I could take a better picture with my camera phone right now.
Yeah, I think it looks really cool. I think it perfectly compliments the darker colours. When they did it on the Millionth Mini it looked a little ... odd ... like racooon eyes ... but that's just because the Mini was all white. However, seeing it on their inspired me to look into doing it myself ... but with Carbon Fibre to add to the sweetness ... lol
[SIZE=-1]The rings pop off, so when installing the headlights, we loosened them to snap the rings back in place and adjust the headlights within the space that way. There is a slight gap, but I didn't honestly expect them to fit as well as the factory headlights, so I wasn't surprised. My car is black, so it's not noticeable, but on lighter colored cars, it certainly might be.

I've got an extra set of chrome rings that might be a better fit around the the aftermarket lights. They are off an 05 xenon. They were in an accident, and if you sand and paint black, they should look brand new.
Free, just pay shipping if anyone wants them.

Do they self-level like the OEM headlights? Also, are the ring halos activated when the parking lights are turned on, or what? I'll definitely look to get a set of these, but I wonder how well they'll hold up to the opening/closing of the bonnet in the long run.
Also, what do you mean about washer holes? I have the washer units on my Cooper S cabrio - will that option have to be disabled somehow with these?

Why in the world would you go from xenons to halogens anyways?
Integrated angel eyes... Fun. Plus I hear that sooner or later the xenons fail from opening/closing the bonnet.
Honesty, if they're super-easy to install, I'd use them for car shows and gatherings, and then re-install my xenons for everyday use.

The I haven't heard of anyone's xenons failing due to age. Besides, ballasts (AL Bosch) can be found for about 50 bucks if one goes bad.
No hazing yet, but I haven't even had them a month.
As far as the wiring, there are some options, but my halos are wired to the driving lights, so they are on with the parking lights.
All told, they look badass on my car and I get a lot of looks, but they are not very good quality. They don't fit the headlight opening properly, the rings were a pain to paint and they don't fit entirely properly, and the wiring was a pain (I didn't actually do it, but it was a chore).
They are good for looks only, but I would not say that they are good for show use only, because there is extra wiring required on the halos and the driving lights, so there would be loose wires with the factory lights back in.
Like I said, they look awesome on my JB, but not near the quality of the factory lights. Light output is good though, and they do truly "project." The halos look really cool too.

headlight that is produced by a company in china. A buddy of mine can get em for me for $150 a pair. The bulb won't fit inside?
Not sure why they "warn" you about not putting HIDs in there. They wont melt the housing or anything, halogens are actually hotter than HID. The problem is that the projectors are the wrong shape, and wont focus the light correctly causing hot spots and uneven lighting. You could easily buy those JDM style headlights and pull the crappy projectors out and replace them w/ some small HID projectors (Cooper projector, TSX, S2000,).
Seems as though they are offered with HIDs now http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/XENON...spagenameZWDVW
