Stripes

I received a stripe kit w/o instructions (though with the squeegee thing). What is the recommended application juice? I've used baby shampoo in the past with good results - a couple of drops per quart in a spray bottle. Seem reasonable?

The ones I got from MightyStipes said to use Dawn dishwashing liquid.

Do you recall the dilution ratio?

I've installed one set of bonnet stripes and two sets of boot stripes. I prefer the dry-install method personally. Much eaiser, IMO.

Just position them carefully when before you start (take measurements multiple times to be sure). And then go slowly with the squeegee to minimize bubbles.

And, you probably know this already, but be sure to remove all the wax from the area before you start. Don't ask me how I know this is VERY important.

It doesnt really matter....just throw a little bit in. Enough to make it a bit slick and soapy.....but not crazy frothy.

I like to use baby shampoo and distilled water. Tap water can have contaminants, and Dawn is just plain nasty.

FWIW might want to claybar the hood first to remove all contaminants. Make sure all the wax is off also, otherwise it will cause havoc with the install.

Not exactly, but a couple of drops per quart sounds familiar.
