Solution for changing Color Line dash!!!

I was looking for black paint on Advance Auto Parts.com to do my chrome on my front grill. Didnt find what i was lookig for but I came upon this....for the interior color line on our dashboards. http://www.partsamerica.com/ProductL...egoryCode=3281

From their website: Dress up or add life to your interior vinyl and fabric with Dupli-Color® High Performance Vinyl and Fabric Coating. It's perfect for vinyl seats, dashes, door panels, shifter boots and consoles. Formulated with a maximum adhesion promoter so there's no need for primer. it's fast drying and won't crack, peel or chip. Available in a variety of OEM or hot tuner colors

Its a Vinyl & Leather spray. Does this mean it'll work on the "Color Line" dash section. Has anyone tried this. It looks toooo easy Hahaha. I wonder how well it works etc. I mean they used it on vinly seats!!!

VIDEO AVAILABLE AS WELL:

I would be careful with this. My dad used a similar product a while back and it peeled in the hot summer sun. He also sprayed the cloth seats and it was like you were sitting on a crusty cloth seat.

I am sure that this is better than the stuff from 10 or so years ago but I would still not recommend it.

A local club member did his own color line and it looks good. His username is Paul.

i wonder how well this would work on the dash though... since you dont sit on it or anything, it would need to stretch or flex. Also, im sure 10 years has vastly improved paint technology.

Kevin, are you planning to black out the chrome around your lights as well?

Here is a blog page of a car that has the headlights done as well, granted the car is black. Check it out.

I've used the vinyl spray paint with great results. I sprayed my vinyl seats and door panels in 3 cars Black. Even in the summer heat they held up great. I used Pledge Furniture Polish on them regularly, a trick I learned from someone years ago. I had more than 2 years on one of the cars with no touch up.
Go for it!

Try Wurth Trim paint from Pelican for chrome and/or A6 SERIES (6 YEAR) MATTE BLACK vinyl for the light rims.
