How To Remove Lower Grill on MCS

Ummm. I dropped a washer down the tow hook hole whilst installing my no holes license plate holder.
It landed on the very bottom of the bumper, so I think I need to remove the lower grill to get it.
So, can someone tell me how to remove the lower grill or point me to a good thread? I'm hesitant to do this as I don't want to scratch the paint or break a clip, but I don't really want to leave the washer in there, though I suppose it's harmless.
Thanks!

I need help in removing the lower grill too!

I just installed the JCW black grill, but since I have the outer chrome line, my lower grill is not matching the blacked out top grill.

I need to remove this ugly chrome ring and really need help in knowing how to remove the lower grill

Any help is really appreciated

Buy one of those magnets on a stick, the kind you can extend to reach in tight places. Then you don't have to remove anything.

well you have two choices ....the hard way is to try to pry out the grille by sticking it under the edge of the grille and try to pop it out this way ....or the other way is take off your bumper ...im pretty sure these are the only two ways ...correct me if im wrong
