rear window collecting: sparkling dust?

I dont even know where to post this.

dust collecting on the rear hatch/window is norm, right?
I noticed mine switched from good old dust to sparkling dust!

coud this be coming from my exhaust?

recent mod before sparkle: Unichip (3 weeks) Alta 3" Exhaust (4 weeks+)

I try to take a good picture of it but with my limited photo skill I just can not get that sparkling captured.
my co-worker askd me if I had my rear window painted to have it sparkle like that, saying it looks "cool"

anyone else having/had/ know?/ this problem?
It's really annoying during commute.. to work/home with sun behind me.

I believe its normal, mine does it too, i've read its from the dirty air being directed from the roof spoiler.

hehe.. i been cleaning rear window very often almost every morning.
no, but this really taste i mean looks different than norm dust. i think i see bit of fibers too. maybe i been standing behind the exhaust tip while warming my mini too long?
-------------------------
I went out and check the rear window again, while sun is still out.
very dirty, but it can't be just dust... its almost like hair/fiber all over my rear window/hatch...
my mini has hairy back!!

Probably sucked a pixie into your intake. I hate it when that happens...

Sorry - probably just drove through something different - unless there was something IN your exhaust - but it wouldn't just be starting after 4 weeks... all different kinds of dust on the road out there. If you drove behind somebody with brand new coated brake discs, that could do it...

OK, cool; I'm not imagining things! I thought maybe the sparkly stuff was one of those flashback thingys.

Okie,,,, im glad? it's norm.
but it sure is annoying, drive home from Car Wash it's there again, the minute my mini Movves it collects. hard to keep my boot nice & clean

Maybe I need to buy diff roof wing to divert dust to non-mini's driving behind me.
:-) thanks
