Interior/Exterior Rally light mod photos
Buy clear stone covers like I did for my Hella 500's. (Sorry couldn't find anything for 2500's)

Protects your lights and you never have to remove 'em.
Shipment is coming Tuesday with my lights!

thanks, mneeme! I thought I was losing my mind. Too bad they don't sell them anymore(I wonder why?), they're rock steady and very well engineered imho.
However, I have one pair leftover cuz we ended up using the stock brackets for my driving lights. you want 'em, chpsk8? i'll sell em to ya..

Thanks.
The brackets are OutMotoring. I don't think they sell them anymore, but I have seen them in other places.
They mount to the structural bumper behind the bumper cover. Pretty cool design really.
The have two options for mounting the lights, one is about 2" lower than the other. I'm on the lowest setting. The light still throws plenty far, but I do notice more shadows of bumps and cracks on the road. I'm amazed how far the light throws... way farther than my high beams.
I tapped into the parking lights for the relay so I can toggle them on as long as the parking lights are on. I wanted the switch to be close and easy to reach so I could toggle them like high beams since they are much more effective. Getting that switch all the way to the mirror control was harder than removing the bumper and mounting the lights. I also had a hard time finding a good place to set a ground. I ended up using an unused hole up by the radiator and also one on the upper left part of the dash for the switch.

Hmmm...I just looked through my bookmarks and didn't see it. Maybe on my other computer. I know I just looked at the site less than a week ago. I can't remember what I was trolling for and came up with that. I'll post back if I find it.
