for all of those items you can paint them or have them vinyl wrapped.
the gas flap is the only item that's actually metal... so you can powder coat that. people on this board have said that they've had their handles powdercoated but i cant confirm that. i know for a fact that the handles are not metal.
the tail light trim... well, you have to "crack" them open to get to the chrome. 3 options here, 1) take the chrome off with denaturized alcohol (it's red lens under the chromium) 2) paint it 3) vinyl

im gonna be painting my headlight rings and the inside with pw soon. (maybe even today!)
and i painted the side marker, covered the door handles and gas cap with vinyl. (it's pretty hard wrapping them. i did a decent job) and i also opened up my tails and painted the chrome.

here's pics. not the best quality but you can still see them.

(i also painted the mini emblems)

ill probably be taking off the vinyl and painting the gas cap with pw paint. only cause it's really easy to take off unlike the door handles.
and more pics in my gallery if you want to take a looky around.

Has anybody tried Monocote radio controlled aircraft covering? I can wrap some pretty tight corners with the stuff and a headlight ring seems like an easy item to cover and heat/shrink fit the edges. You can get some wild solid covers and see thru metallics.
