That is why I let Mike at AC do mine last time, but I may get brave and put my replacement stripes on myself. I have a very bad track record with any kind of stick on product - from masking tape to decals, never can seem to get them on straight or without bubbles, creases or stretching. Most of the time all four. I am good with those little map dots though.
Back on topic - CRPWJB I loved your photo shoot in the other thread and how your JB looks today. Nice. Can't wait to see the rest of your work.

minimaybee- the trick is to use light squeegee strokes and pertend
you're like a ballet dancer or a painting artest or something. gracefully
squeegee the stripe from center diagnally outward in a artiful (?) curve
motion. then go over it again using slightly more pressure.

the cotton towel will absorb the solution as you go towards the edge.

Thanks, Maybee... glad you like it.

But: Other thread ? I think it's THIS thread. We just got so sidetracked, I think you forgot.

Maybe a little less sniffing of the Hydro. Of course, that's a tough habit to break... smells like Peach Heaven.

Think I would rather give up the spray paint from the papper bag first. Giving up Hydro would even come after the model airplane glue.

i checked my stripes a few moments ago and the bubbles have flattened by
about 65-70%. i might be able to accept it as is... hopefully.

i put some Best of Show wax on it as well. Outmotoring stripes do not
smear with wax...even SprayOn wax! this is a major
improvement over factory stripes.

terrible pict, but you get the idea. the bubbles are completely out. there are 2 small marks that you
can barely see up close in real life... can't see it in this pict.

NOOOOOOO!!!!!

OMG, Ken..... you have a serious problem on your hands there....

I don't know how to put this, so, er, I guess I'll just say it....

YOUR GARAGE IS TOO FREAKIN CLEAN!!!!!!!

Crikey, whatdaya do, eat off that floor? Geesh.

I can't see anything wrong with the stripes, by the way.

One of mine is a tad further from the washer jet than the other. Nobody but me will probably ever notice. And if they do, screw'em - they're too **** to live...

Oh, and what's the story with the wood block and the orange tape? Is that some kind off secret code to the dust and leaves to not pass that, or ELSE?

Geez, Ken, I don't know if those stripes look any good or not.

The glare of the flourescent lights off that Prima Shine... I can't see a damn thing !!

If I could see them, I would say they look GREAT !

thanks. i was pretty careful to make sure the stripes were
placed evenly as much as possible... probably within max 0.7mm?

have too many lights turned on cause everyone's saying it's so shiny.
and to me, "shiny" is not good!
