Hello...my son parked the Cooper S under a tree that got sap all over the car. I was able to get it off the paint, with no issue, but the factory bonnet stripes have gotten stained, and there is a pale yellow residue from the sap. Any idea what can be used to clean them? I have tried 409, but thats as far as I want to go without some good advice.

They probably are stained...try leaving the car parked out in the sun and see if the sun bleaches the stains out. It worked for me when I had a bug gut stain on my clear bra.
