i have 35% tint all around and I live in L.A. Technically the 35% is illegal, but the way i see it, it's not as dark as most of the other cars out there. So it's less noticable to the cops. Haven't had any trouble thankfully.

Getting my front windshield done at 35% too soon.

 

I also have the 35% all around, but it only set me back $120 with a lifetime guarantee on materials and labor

 

35% is legal in Texas!

Hey Ants! I live on LI and don't want to be hasseled, but love the look of the darker tints on the MINI.

Would it be worthwhile to go with 50% rather than the 35% you went with? Would you even know it was tinted? "Upstate" night vison is important to me too.

50% wont be much of tint, but %35 may attract the heat..so its a toss up.

I'm not sure of the law in Texas now, but it used to be 5% for all windows except the front two. The limit was 35% on those.

 

All your tints look good but what is the best? i mean 35% seemed to light stillt o me i was thinking about 50% or somthing anyone? love to be toally blacked out........

very nice tint and I love your exhaust. Great red and white look. No wonder the cops take notice of you. It's like a cop magnet.

I have 35% tint all around except the front windshield in Hawaii and that is legal. Not too dark at all. People in my area do all sorts of illegal tint- it is very flagrant.

I have the same white tail lights and I love the sparkle. I have indy blue and white. Soon I will be adding polished Centerline RPM 17" wheels. Takes forever for shipping across the pacific. I think they just tie up the four wheels and float them across the ocean with a tiny MINI logo sail.
