R & R seat backs, anyone have helpful tips?

Tomorrow I'm picking up new seatbacks for my driver and passenger seats for my '03 MC. I have no idea how to get the old ones off and the dealer cannot help. Does anyone have any idea on the how-to?

Hey sorry to hear that. Did you buy them from the dealer? In that case they should know how to install these items. You might try PM'ing people like MsFitoy, Randy and Peter from m7, ummm a bunch of people on here just look around and you will know who to go to. You might try another dealer to see if they can help.

i believe it's a 45degree ... push and yank procedure

you can try searching for "rear-seat delete kit..etc" related topics to find it's install guide..maybe you can find out how ppl take their's off.

hope this helps, or i'm even answering on the same line~
good luck

Thanks guys I figured it out and it was very easy.

I used a star drive to undo both side seat positioners and took them off. I then pulled the seatback towards me which unsnapped it and then lifted it off in a upward motion. Very simple and the new seatbacks look great.
