I sure did.

 

Well, Paul.. you know me. You know that up until very recently, I hadn't done any performance mods on any of the MINIs. The Coopers are commute cars and an important reason we bought them... MPGs !

BUT... and this is a very large but ... one trip to MOTD and I was bitten by the bug.

So, started with the Coopers just to give them a little more zip and a growly exhaust to make them *sound* mean.

The MCSC, it was bought for a weekend toy and I thought it had P L E N T Y of zip already. But you know how it is. After a while, you get used to those horses and you want to add a few more to the stables.

I'm considering it. I have a few other "show" mods to do first, then I just might do something with Dr Evil to boost his horses. We'll see.

 

Even on a weekend street car.... adding 20 ftlb of torque makes a HUGE difference in the fun factor....

 

So, what do you recommend ? Pulley ? Add a CAI for a little more zip ?

You want to post full size pics in a thread ? You just copy the URL of the photo (I use Photobucket to save them and post the like from that site), and then click on the little mountains and sun icon above the posting window. Presto... photo in the thread.

Works for me. You heard it, Mad Modders. From this date, July 20, 2008, forward, you must have pics in your post for entry into the Mad Modder Club.

Applications not containing at least one GOOD photograph will be returned to the applicant (and I get to keep your application fee).
