I installed the Ventshade sunroof deflector over the weekend. Now, I wouldn't normally add one of these to a car because,in general, I don't like the way they look. The volume level of wind noise with the cooper sunroof open at speed made it essential to find a fix if I was going to have the roof open above 30mph.

I can drive at 70+ with the roof open (still need to have the side windows open a crack to stop the buffeting) and actually enjoy it. Really makes a difference, especially around town at the 20-45 mph range it is now real quiet. I recommend this to anyone who likes to have their roof open but find the wind noise of the stock setup unacceptable.

It looks okay on my EB/W since the color of the shade is very similar to the glass color in the roof. The lip at the trailing edge seems to fit with the shape of the car.

I've had one installed for 10 months now and would have to concur elblue...it is still not as quiet as other sunroofs I've owned, but with the large size of the opening, it is substantial...
