I knew I could do the strut bar but never paid that much attention to what would be required to install the CAI. I guess if you guys can do it, than I can too.

Of course, I had been telling my wife it would be a while since we would get the work done while visiting family in Indy. Now I just need to get the money.

Hardest part is just muscling the new hose over the throttle body. And it's really not that hard.

If you stick with the stock hose it's even easier.

Does any one have a suggestion on what to try next on installing the M7 STB. I have about a 1/4 inch gap at the back of the hood when the bar is installed. I have tried soaking the hood liner in water to mold it but it did not seem to help.

Thanx, I just ordered an M7 STB and air diverter plate, yesterday, and right below the item I was looking at was "Cold Air Intake". If it was a snake it would have bit me!!

I had a gap as well. After soaking the hood liner and letting it sit, the gap eventually receded over the course of the next few weeks. It's barely visible now, and only if you're looking for it.

I only soaked the hood liner once, not repeatedly over those few weeks.
