I recently purchased an ebay clear brake light, it was packaged very well but it dosn't work :(. I unscrewed my OEM one, and my spoiler (MC). Gave the spoiler a wiggle to brake the seal/glue bond, took out my OEM, unplugged it, and plugged in the clear one. But the clear one won't light...I then replaced the OEM light and it worked. The way the one from ebay is, the wiring harness can plug in either way, with a bit of modification (bending a tab on the light). Does it matter which way the plug is facing or will power run through it no matter what?

hmm looks like i have to tear apart the top of my boot again (all 5 bolts) to see if it works flipped over...probably going to wait til I hear back from the seller before i move that tab so that if he says to return it...i can thanks for the help TWISTER
