The fog lights are H-11. High and low beam (without xenons) are H-7. With xenons the highs only are H-7. MINI driving lights are H-3.

All of these halogen lamps are 55 watts each.

Mounted below the marker lights in the bumper are fog lights, in the U.S. these are H11 bulbs. Driving lights are added on, mounted above the bumper in front of the grille, the 'official' MINI driving lights use H3 bulbs (these are very common). Non-xenon headlights use H7 bulbs for the high and low beams for a total of four H7 lamps. With xenon headlights the high beams are still halogen H7 bulbs for a total of two H7 and two xenon low beam (D2R?) lamps.

Nice animation....Does anyone know what size the MARKER lights are. I have heard they are a 31w but nobody carries that item. I want to get rid of the yellow glow behind the lens. Any ideas??? Thanks

It's a 21 watt bulb. Here is a quick hint: Use a clear 1156 bulb (21 watts as well) and file off one of the bayonet pins. The bulb that's in there has an offset pin to prevent any other type of bulb (read: non-amber) from being easily fitted.

i'm gonna mooch off this post since my question fits in the subject, and hope it gets answered...

I recently got a new pail of tail lights (white lens for turn indicator) that require me to get new center bulbs that ignite amber. so i need to know the wattage of those rear lights, and also if anyone knows a place i can get clear bulbs that ignite amber, versus amber bulbs.

also, i remember seeing a replacement for the front parking lights/turn indicators that was all clear (vs. being half amber/half clear). will someone please tell me if i was dreaming this, or they do in fact exist, and where to get them. in the accessories book 2003 on page 10, it looks like the MINI has the all clear ones, but they don't list them anywhere. anyway, someone let me know.. i gotta get rid of as much orange as possible.

And this is exactly why I love this site soooo much. What a great idea. I feel really stupid now. That is the way to do it. Thanks Bear.

sweet, thanks.. i was thinking it was the lens that was 2/3rds amber, but went outside and upon closer inspection it's just the light, so guess it's a pretty simple switch.. anywhere to get the bulbs besides the dealer?
