Interior/Exterior Reverse Light to LED woes, need help
Reverse Light to LED woes, need help
I purchased a 1156 superwhite LED bulb in hopes to get rid of the last ounce of yellowish light... but all is not well
now... here's the issue
the LED lights up when i tested it in my mom's audi's rear fogs... the incandescent reverese works on my car, so if the LED works, and the incandescent works in the socket... all should light up when i put the LED bulb in, but it doesn't light up
anybody want to chime in and answer why?

The polarity of the socket is backwards. LEDs, unlike incandescent bulbs are polarity sensitive unless curcuitry is added to change this. The solution here is to swap the wires going to the socket.
The connector comes apart and you can swap the wires without any cutting. I described how to do it here: https://www.northamericanmotoring.co...35#post1201935
Which LED bulb did you get? Don't be surprised if the brightness is disappointing.
