I have a DS/B, with tinted windows, blacked out mini symbols and i think itll look good with it.
i am not a absolute 0 chrome guy, i enjoy the chrome belt line and on the grill.
heres SMOKE

heres CHARCOAL

what do you think i should get.
there are pictures of my car on my cardomain link in my signature if you want to see what mini it would be going on.
thanks.

Hello Guys.
I'm starting to carry all of the Lamin-x Films. I have Blue, Yellow, and the GunSmoke. I think the Gunsmoke is the most common color of the dark tinted films.
The gunsmoke has a more of a dark greyish tint to it where as the Smoke has a brown tint to it.
The gunsmoke looks great on black cars.
Let me know what color everyone would want and i'll work on some kind of a group buy.
Or is there someone else doing this? I don't want to step on any toes.
Thanks

I have had the Lamin-X yellow film on my rally lights for over 2 years now. Might even be 3 years. Very happy with it. I like the look of the charcoal, but you have to keep in mind the loss of light output with the tint.
thanks, yea on the sight its says charcoal lose 30% of the light and smoke loses i think 18%...but it tells you.
yes they come precut for the r56 and they have them instock...the parking lights kit even comes with ones for the foglights.!

ok, this is what the gunsmoke (lightest one) looks like..and the stock look for comparison..(and yes, I know I need my windows tinted..that's coming in a couple weeks, haha)

I took the picture on a fairly sunny day, sometimes it looks a bit darker..sometimes it looks a bit lighter depending on the day. When the lights are on at night, they shine through really bright, so safety isn't a concern.
Also, when you first apply them, there will be some fogginess and small bubbles (I took that pic right after I put it on..so you can see a couple of the tiny bubbles)..after about a couple weeks, that all dissappears and they look perfect..so don't get frustrated with your initial results.

THANK YOU!!!!!! I am now inbetweek gunsmoke and smoke.....no more charcoal haha
btw-the bubbling and all, same thing with your windows when you get them done, my passenger side front window, almost had these waves to it, like ripples. No air bubble but a vissible ripple only from the inside though, i got a little scared, but they went away and now i think it looks amazing!
Thanks again for the picture!

so now you've seen my "gunsmoke"
this will give you an idea of what the "charcoal" looks like..pretty much completely blacked out..if you want that look, def go charcoal.

the "smoke" would be somewhere in between
