My new Custom E-brake boot

well I have been working on this little project with a friend of mine for a while. Here is the e brake boot. The shift boot should be done next week.

What do you think? Would thier be any intrest in these if I was to make them in microfiber in about 10 colors. I am also working on a few plaid options as well.

***Here is the Plaid updated 06/05/07***

And the car:

WOW! Nice job. You should consider doing the door pulls area too!

Sorry, but it doesn't do anything for me - doesn't match the rest of the interior and... well... it sort of looks like a shirt sleeve. But I bet it's soft. Not that I spend much time touching the ebrake cover though... Maybe if it were in black?

I'd worry about how that material would fray/stain on the door pull - lots of grime from fingertips and elbows in that area...

Good to see more people thinking outside the box, though. Just because it's not MY "cuppa tea" doesn;t mean that others won't love it.

Thanks for the Reply's. While true it doesn't match. This is just the begining, The Shift boot, and dash area will eventually recieve the same treatment. I wanted to bring a little more color to my shades of grey interior.

As for other colors I am thinking Burgundy, Red, Black, Grey, Green, a deeper Blue, and some different plaids.

keep the comments coming

I think it looks real good and very personal. Something that you don't always see and doesn't look tacky while doing it.

Cheers to the OP! enjoy your custom boots.
