My black'd-out MINI

Hi motorers,

I've got my car back from the paintshop a few days ago and finally got all the "parts" to get my black'd-out project...

I still have to receive the fog lights grills for the Aero bumper...

I got the following painted "flat black" at the paintshop:
- Headlight rings
- Door handles
- Gas door
- Mirror caps

And got these from UPS:
- OutMotoring beltline kit
- Lamin-X headlights/turn signals/fog lights gunsmoke films

$400 including front bumper's paint, which is not bad IMO...

The Lamin-X films were $45, and the beltline kit is $12.

Are those the original headlight rings, just painted? How hard was it to get the rings off?

I like it, looks good.

The lamin-x film over the headlights looks good, but how does it affect the lighting at night? I plan on blacking out more of my MINI when I get the chance. I really want to make it faster first....but I'm tired of having "just another stock-looking MINI"!!!!!!!!!

Very Nice. I really like the dark silver minis that get the stealth treatment. Blacking them out looks so sick. What kind of wheels do you have on their?
Thanks, Chris.

The wheels are 18" RH, but I can't remember the model...

The lighting is still very good. The films are a bit darker, but with the xenons, it is still very good. I'd say there is maybe 5-10% less light going through, which is not bad.

The logo and the white stripes down the sides of the hood stripes. Looks pretty cool though.
