Man!! Your car looks HAWT dropped down over some big wheels. THAT's how the R56 should sit.

If I were to do it over again, I would have passed on it since I feel that the factory aero kit takes away from the agressive look of the front and rear end of the car. I'll render my final thoughts when I receive the car later this week and see it with the painted arches. BMW needs to re-think this one. Just my opinion of course.

Got the car today. The painted arches make all the difference as you can see.

I think I like it!

Looks good - what did the dealer charge to paint the wheel arches?

Was quoted $750 but I received a 50% discount due to other aggravations in the transaction. They came out perfectly glossy and smooth.

MINI dealership painted the arches? Nice.

The car looks great. Very different than stock with all that red on the sides. Questions: do your hood stripes have a black outer edge, or is it the "jaggies" from the camera? Did the dealer say what they did to the plastic wheel arches prior to painting to get them smooth?

The hood stripes do have a black border. They were not specific about what they did with the arches other than saying that it was "very labor intensive" to get the arches painted correctly.
