I really appreciate your video. I replaced all my valves as one of my 3rd cylinder exhaust valves disintegrated a few months back. I was able to take my head off and replace all my valves and reassemble the car. It started right off - which is amazing as I used Mod Mini videos and the sort to guide my work. (Engine work is not in my world!) I had a few knocks and it sounded like what I'd refer to as a lifter. I had replaced the tensioner, so wondered if it hadn't expanded - but that's been confirmed. I then came across your video and it made a lot of sense. The noise is a lot like a slap of the valve. Anyway, in an attempt to move a few of the tappets, I ended up slipping and broke one. It's brittle plastic. (I've been the only owner of my car and thought these parts were metal when from the factory.) My issue now is whether they are available to purchase or do I need to order a whole new rocker arm just to have that little plastic cap - or tappet? Is there a part number for the broken piece?
I've included a photo.
Any help is greatly appreciated.
Thank you!
