thanks to dakin's recommendation, i think it was a great buy! it's a bit louder, but this just mean you have to crank you stereo louder... but seriously, it sure shaved some weight off my MCS...

Country.. where'd you go for the one-ball?

I saw on MyMini where they have a straight pipe to replace the resonator...

Ha! This is the bolt that our local ex-jet engine mechanic dude tightened! Hate to see the bolts on the jet engines!

Hey blown and country, I have a used OBX header for sale. Have a brand new Magnaflow ODB2 cat too (you need to get it welded to the OBX). With this cat people have not thrown the CEL codes (this cat was recommended by drobnxs). Let me know if you guys are interested. Keith was but..........

BTW, cwlouis has the Megan header - it comes with a "race" cat.

Not true. It's the cat. Race cats WILL set it off. Milltek initially won't but it seems eventually they will (cat loses its effectiveness I guess). OBX has no cat; in fact it needs to be mated (with cat or test pipe) to the exhaust system. I ordered the Alta header from ESM (however it seems they are available) and would've used the CEL tricker thing that one of the NAM vendors sells. It works on cwlouis' set-up.

buyer beware!

--Hmm no actually jet engine bolts are loctited and lockwired. Now this gets me to thinking the real reason DK sold that header so quick.

Hmmmm ????

Fess up DK! You've dropped header bolts all over Oahu before you sold it to poor poor innocent Louis!

j/k

I'm serious about the loctite Louis, unless you want me to make both your bolts lockwire bolts. I can do that too.

No, I just dropped them all over Makakilo and I kept running over the bolts and puncturing my tires. I had to put my RFs back on just to use the Megan header. I don't invite Louis over anymore because I don't want to puncture any more of my tires.
