Fluff is a good name for a MINI.

I know you were acting dumb
You were probably thinking...
I wonder if MINIhune is asleep at the wheel
I was going to tell you Kohu'ulaMINI had bought my R90s but then his wife would kill him
and then we would need another MA at the dealership.

I have had the tire pressure light go off several times. I checked the tire pressure and added/relieved the tire pressure and it worked OK (light went out) after restarting the car.

The problem I see is that the "BUMPS" we hit may in fact cause the depressurization of the tires. This would lead one to assume that the sealing points between the rim and the tire are not as good as those on the "Normal" tires vice those points on the run flat tires.

Aloha and Welcome, riscci

Good observation on the "BUMPS" causing the lights to go off

>>I have a family, house in MINIlani, newish MINI and brand old Odyssey. Does that count? Hey is somebody copying me or am I copying someone else? Can't decide.

I bow down to the ultimate MINI Amdassador, minihune had all his first before I did.
I'm not copying....we just have similar "good" tastes

back to the original point of this thread...yellow constantly lit DSC light plus tire pressure light at the same time.

i had this same problem on sunday and took my car in yesterday to see if there was anything wrong. sure enough, the lights were on due to a faulty steering angle sensor. the part has been ordered and will be installed in a few weeks.

if anyone else has this problem, it might be worthwhile to bring the car in...

>>Again, this is a problem on DSC/Runflats equipped MINIs only.

My MCS lights came on after tire rebalancing and I don't have run flats. Push the button and then it should go off. Stop and restart the engine and i'm sure it will go off.

yes, this is true for the tire pressure monitor only...but not when the DSC light and tire light comes on at the same time.

im having this same issue

DSC + low tire indicator.

Ive checked tire preasure, and reset it. Still lights are on.
Im not running runflats, so thats not the problem.

I DO need new brakes. Im wonderring if this is built into the poor brake indicator? My brakes front and rear are SHOT. (warped front rotors + worn out front/rear pads)

any thoughts to this old post

I had the same thing happen a couple of weeks ago. Accelerating up on onramp to highway, looked down, both lights on. Pressed the tire reset button, drove away, all fine

I checked the tire pressures later and all were OK.

No idea why, I think just one of those quirks

Same problem here a couple weeks ago, and it ended up being the speed sensor that needed replacement. After the SS replacement I've had no problems. I didn't have any intermitent lights though, once the switch failed the lights came on from the moment the car started rolling. Either way it sounds like a sensor could be bad. I'd make an appointment either way
