Which one was it? Let me guess-

Trying to hide from the track police?
Fell asleep at the wheel during a run?
Searching for wild animals in the bushes? Didn't want to pay at the regular metered stalls?
Tried to drive over the small mountain but could not climb?

15-year old who just got his license, panicked and happened to mistake the gas pedal for the brake.

Hey, my 16 year old daughter in the first few weeks of driving was making a right turn out of a parking lot in a 25 mph area when a SUV came barreling by in the outside lane (2 lanes) just as we were starting to turn which startled my daughter who swerved right and jumped the curb to get out of the way of the SUV.

I think all those teenagers should go to driving school to get some practice in. I'll start my son early so he can get practice in the ole MCS. He's already as tall as my wife. He said nope, he doesn't want to get arrested. Ok, we'll wait a little longer.

Geez, I dunno how fast I went in my Mustang when I was 17 since the speedo only went to 85. Calculating tire diameter, rpms and gear ratio, I was doing an estimated 135 mph. Done that in my BMWs out to HRP.

135 @ 17 . My high school bud back then had a Cobra (I had a Cougar) & we used to burn rubber easily on corners. Rarely see/hear that these days. That's a good thing

Yep, I had a '80 Mustang with the anemic 4.2L V8. Back then it was tiny and was gutless. What did I do? I yanked the motor and installed a 351 Cleveland. That got me going real good, especially with the stock 2.26 rear gears. After those gears got shredded, I installed some 3.45s

Also had some fun with my 5 spd 528e back in the late 80's. It was stock except for suspension and wheel mods. I pegged the needle at 85 and it kept going to the 7 o'clock position!
