Just one or two Rallycross dates left in this season.

We have a MINI Clubman signed up in Rallycross for next event in two sundays.
Should be good.

 

Rallycross went well

One Clubman did pretty well, finished first in Stock Front Wheel drive and finished 7th overall out of 18 drivers, he was only beat by the drivers in Modified All Wheel Drive class.

 

Just had a Rallycross event this weekend at KRP. 15 drivers.

If you have any interest in offroading, driving in the loose gravel and dirt, making lots of dirt clouds or drifting on purpose, then you might want to come out to KRP.

If your excuse is you have no rally car then don't worry.
Post here and I will find you a rally car to drive.

You need a Snell rated helmet and closed shoes, show up early enough to register in the morning and we will take it from there.

Cost is $50 to drive plus $15 weekend SCCA membership if you are not already a member (annual fee $80).

If you want to ride along bring your shoes and rated helmet if you have one.

We drive all day from about 930 to 4pm. Plan to get dirty.

If you can pre-reg that is good or you can just show up that morning, earlier is better to get the paperwork done.

I already have a a/c on motorsportsreg so it would be easy for me to register. My problem is not knowing if I will be around on that day so I need a little time to get schedules sorted.

I think I might have all the necessary equipment.

Do I need my own car?

 

It is possible to use your MINI but it's not advised if you don't have good tires for loose dirt and gravel.

You want stock suspension, and snowtires or Rally tires (preferred) on narrow 15" wheels.

Just get there in the morning and we will figure the rest out. If you do pre-reg you can list the MINI or make something up. We can do adjustments for car class based on which car you end of driving.

Minihune. I guess I will not be going to the event after all. A minivan crossed over the central medium and sideswiped my Mini on Kalanianaole hwy this afternoon and is not driveable. Don't know when the car will be back if at all.

 

Let me know if you might be interested enough to drive.

I can pick you up and take you to the event. Sign up registration you can do that morning.

$15 for SCCA weekend membership if you need it. Bring a helmet. It runs the full day then I take you home.

Rally cross is happening March 30 at KRP

We have all our events approved for the remainder of the 2012-2013 RallyCross Season.

You can see we have been approved for a trial RallyCross Event at Kualoa Ranch. So yet again, we will be making history with the first event of it's kind at this beautiful location. It's also Father's Day, so in keeping with event tradition, we will be offering new SCCA Hawaii RallyCross T-shirts free to all participating fathers. Per entrant comments these will be in a color that's better suited to RallyCross and will feature KRP and Kualoa Ranch along with the SCCA Hawaii RallyCross banner. They will also be offered for sale to others throughout the season as well.

I would like to go but I will not be able to make any of the dates till the June date due to travels. Perhaps I can see you there then.

 

Don't forget, the next Rallycross is Father's Day in June at Kualoa Ranch.

 

We had a great time at Kualoa this past Sunday for our first ever Kualoa Rallycross.

39 drivers and a grassy pasture field. 65 to 75 second runs.
We did three in the morning and three in the opposite direction in the afternoon then funruns until 330pm

Hawaii Region Sports Car Club of America is happy to announce the rescheduling of the March of the T-WRXs RallyCross! Sponsored by Servco Subaru Honolulu event on Saturday, April 21, 2018. The RallyCross will be held at the Kualoa Ranch, Kaneohe, Hawaii.

About a 60-70 second course, there were less than 30 drivers but included three large trucks (two F150 Raptors) along with assorted Rally cars and some street cars.

Two runs in the morning and four runs in the afternoon, I saw one MINI support car. If interested let me know, Co-drives are available just ask. It's all day and a bit dusty.

Great fun if you like to do power slides on loose surfaces. Some areas are somewhat flat, others are bumpy and sloped.
