Aloha Stadium has been closed to all events so the rest of the 2019-2020 season is over. Event 12 and Championship runoff are cancelled.
Next season may start in August 2020 if the Stadium reopens but that remains to be determined.
Stay safe out there.

Things are going slowly in Hawaii, we are shut down until May 31 with a few businesses starting to reopen by mid May.
Number of covid positive cases is limited but risk of new spread from visitors to the state is clear and present danger.
If any driving events open up in the coming months I will post them here so stay tuned. It's also likely that even if events are planned for the rest of the year there is always the possibility that everything will be shut down again and cancelled so don't wait if an event does open up before the fall months.

The update as of today June 26
Aloha Stadium is open on weekends for swap meet but the lower parking lot is being used to store rental cars that are not being used. Therefore the stadium has not allowed SCCA events to resume until after August 31, 2020 and could cancel event dates beyond that if the University of Hawaii Football does not have a fall season and games at the stadium. In that case the rental cars will remain until tourism starts up again. The Governor has continued stay at home orders until July 31 and beginning Aug 1 visitors from outside of Hawaii will be allowed not to follow the mandatory 14 day quarantine if they can document they have a negative PCR Covid 19 test within 3 days of their trip to Hawaii. Otherwise the 14 day quarantine is in effect and allows only travel for medical emergencies.

https://www.hawaiitourismauthority.o...l-coronavirus/
It may be possible for SCCA to get more dates once the stadium parking lot opens in the fall but we have no dates beyond the end of 2020 due to possible construction of a new stadium.

Update as of Aug 22
Covid19 infections are surging with over 1000 new cases each week for the last two weeks plus. Near shutdowns are happening as parks, beaches and all outdoor gatherings are closed or prohibited. Gatherings of 5 limit are allowed both public and private, restaurants, service businesses, churches and gyms still open. Theaters open with restrictions.
As a result tourism is on hold, Hawaiian Air is laying off people as 90% of their daily business is lost. Quarantine for all mainland visitors and all residents who visit neighbor islands is at 14 days. Plans to allow visitors to be tested and avoid quarantine are on hold since testing is very slow and unavailable to many who travel. Resort bubble plans are being discussed where you can quarantine within a resort and do things only on site but you are not restricted to just your room.
Aloha Stadium parking lot still being used for over 3000 rental cars and no plans to move it. All motorsports events there are cancelled up to Oct and likely will continue with the cancellation of all UH and high school football events for the rest of the year.

The Stadium parking lot has moved the rental cars so the site is usable however the Mayor has determined that there will be no gatherings in public for groups larger than 25 anytime in the near future until after we progress from Tier 1 to Tier 4 in infection numbers and rates which likely won't happen anytime in 2020.
Problem is with a two week average to determine which Tier we are in it will be difficult to progress if we have any surges in numbers. In spite of this we hope for the best and will announce any event dates if they are allowed.
In the mean time SCCA national has guidelines and there are autocross events across the nation in many states. Big Island SCCA also has monthly events going that are allowed.

Big Island SCCA has monthly autocross events running successfully at Hilo Drag Strip. Travel to Big Island is under 14 day quarantine currently
Oahu will be moving to Tier 2 restriction shortly but we are still very far away from lifting of restrictions enough to hold Autocross events at Aloha Stadium. Likely Tier 4 will be needed but getting there is highly doubtful given the rise in tourist travel to hawaii daily.
Further, the stadium has booked a Christmas drive through display to be open from end of Nov to Jan 2 using the lower parking lot area. Therefore the SCCA Hawaii autocross season will not happen until 2021.
