I've aslo had that done....the only "advise" I can give is follow the instructions set forth by the docs even if they sound like too much.

I rested as long as they wanted me to, but I didn't do the excersises religiously like they suggested and now I still get some pain (like when I do my laces) and when I put heavy stress on my back...I don't get numb anymore, but I definately have the old man grunts
