We made it back safely-I think, albeit a bit salty.
Had a total of 7 including 2 MINIs (Angel and I) and an Audi Quattro?
I wasn't the luckiest at cards like The_Beastmaster (he'll tell you it wasn't his fault he Aced us) and the rain was out on and off. Had a good drive anyway and nice and sunny at every one of our stops, scheduled and unscheduled.
Looking forward to the next event.

so... who were the winners?
how was the roads? salty cause of the sand on the roads? or salty spray from the waves?
it was pretty much a gorgeous day in waikiki both today and saturday. perfect venue for our PT conference with ~250+ attendees. best part of the day was driving down the windy parking garage at the hyatt, all 10 floors. and follow that with a picture perfect sunset surf session with only a few of the boyz out. oh yeah, and the conference was great also.
btw, since i was stuck all weekend day at waikiki, i kinda missed out on the show at sandy's and makapuu coast. any humungo waves still to be seen? that one was just for you, keikilee.

No humongo waves today, unlike Friday!
As for the drive we had intermittent showers and sunshine. However, at every stop, we did have sunshine. Sand and rocks on the roads in Kaaawa, Hauula and Kahuku and some crashing waves.
The best hand? That went to Dale Payson with 2 pairs. I go second place w/ a pair of Aces and John Bigay had the 3rd best hand with a pair of Queens.
The story behind my hand? Well, since I was dealing the cards and had them in my possession during the entire drive, I really couldn't take cards until the end. So, at the pit stop at Malaekahana Campgrounds, we gathered around to see who had the best hand. Since I did not have any cards, I had our participants pull my cards at random from the deck. I ended up with 2 Aces, a King, an 8 and a 6.

I "wonder" if The_Beastmaster is really a "card magician" and although it "looked like" we were pulling cards out for him he really was controlling our selection. That's part of the illusion, makes for very powerful tricks. Either that or serious mind control- the "force" is strong in The_Beastmaster. Or maybe we were just tired from driving around in the rain. (Just joking here- the luck was just with the Boss that day- hey I want a rematch with a neutral dealer!)
Sorry i missed it folks sounds like a nice wet drive-
just got MCS back today after DME sent to NJ last monday- stumble at take off all pau- feels so normal again. However lurch/stumble on deceleration at 1900 rpm still there-
Hope to be at next outing.

Just dropped off the food at the FoodBank and here's the tally. 7 cars and 47 lbs of food! Pretty good for such a small group.
One of the workers was on the truck cruise we saw at Kualoa. He said they do their FB drive in January and usually collect 300 lbs. Of course, that's with a lot more vehicles than we had.
Good job! Next year it'll be even better!
